This project, for Midwest Port Authority, included the design and fabrication of a new on-board MCC room, which included a HV transformer, RMU, MCC, VSDs, SCADA and the PLC control system. In addition to the MCC room, the ship loader was completely rewired and all electrical and instrumentation components were replaced for new items, including the HV cable and hose reelers. Additional instrumentation & control systems were also added for higher efficiency of loading and reliability.
This project was completed in December 2016.
