Austral Construction contracted GCo Australia to deliver the electrical systems scope of the Cape Lambert Dolphin Head Life Extension Project. The scope was delivered at Rio Tinto’s Cape Lambert ship loading facility and included the electrical and instrumentation associated with the tugger winches, quick release hooks with integrated capstans, ship access platforms, Acoustic wave current profiler relocation, lighting, power, cabling and programming.
Works were delivered over a 12-month period within an operational port and environmentally challenging conditions.
